The 1GBT based design allows the VZ3000 to operate a high carrier frequencies. These high switching rates result in low acoustic noise. The carrier frequency is user selectable when using the user friendly software. |

Control during Instantaneous Power Loss |

The regulator can alter the control of the VZ3000 when an instantaneous power loss occours. Through software configuration. the VZ3000 will either shut down, restart or any of three modes in which the regulator maintains control. |

Self-tuning Functions |

The VZ3000 self tuning regulator simplifies start up. The regulator will automatically determine the motor design parameters, tune the speed loop gains and calculate the control parametersfor operation in constant horsepower range. |

The VZ3000 will communicate with personal computer of the AutoMax process controller via RS232 as standard. Mulitple VZ3000s can be cascaded for multidrop communications as standard. |

The VZ3000 can successfully operate from input voltages ranging from 200 VAC to 460 VAC. The VZ3000 was alsodesigned to accept DC input for use when common DC Bus is desired. |

VZ3000 controllers rated 15kW and less are designed to operate from either the AC power line or from a common DC bus system. VZ3000 controllers rated 22kW and larger are designed with separate DC power supply (converter) and drive modules (inverter) |

Simple Operation |

Because this VZ3000 is software based controller, all setup, maintenance and test modes user friendly. These functions can be accessed by using either an optional operators terminal or a personal computer.
